The U.D.S.F. is a non profit association, the purposes of which include the following :
- to bring together regional wine waiters associations.
- to harmonise regional associations' activities with a view to developing and improving the wine-waiting profession.
- to increase the standing of the wine waiting profession.
- to maintain and promote the wine waiters’ code of ethics.
- to protect the image of wine waiting in France.
Thanks to the activities and participation of its member wine waiters, the association takes part in all events pertaining to gastronomy.
